WORKSHOPS/ VOKÜ/ OPEN AIR CINEMA

On saturday from noon onwards we will open the garden to a relaxing session in the beautiful out side area of the Naherholungs Sternchen.  Here you can Participate in  Workshops for free,  endulge in the dilicous Vokü and later on enjoy the Open Air Cinnema or simply just chill in a hammock and  enjoy a cold drink ! And dont worry in case it rains we have a bad weather option inside as well!

Dance Workshop, by Camilla

Camilla, italian ballett dancer and dance pedagogue will be doing a pilates/stretching as well as dance improvisation workshop:
Normally before and after every lesson,dancers do a stretching-pilates session to relax, warm and strengthen
the muscles; but that´s not only a dancer´s stuff ! that´s really usefull also in everyday life! During this workshop you will learn some of these moves and then there will be a special improvisation part!

 

Vocal Workshop, by Julie Dillon

 

Julie dillon, lead singer of the Berlin based Electronic Swing Orchestra, skilled Jungle Mc and trained Jazz vocalist, will be giving a 30 min voice workshop. all ages welcome!

Decoration Art, by Ambra Rosedorne 

Ambra Rosedorne studied Fine Arts in Bologna and in 2010 she graduated in Set Designer.
During her studies she starts to produce shorts films and her graduation thesis was a documentary on Laminarie theatre group with whom she collaborated.
Currently she’s living in Berlin and she makes decorations, jewels, graphics and she is working in the art collective Femme Fraktale.
For the Lion Dub Festival she built some decorations and she planed a scavenger hunt. Take the map and find the Lion(s)!

Dub Echoes
Saturday ca. 20:30 in the Garden!

“Dub Echoes” is a documentary that traces the origins of the Jamaican dub music and it’s influence on the development of hip hop and electronic music.The film shows how the Jamaican invention called dub ended up influencing much of the music we hear today, from electronic music to hip-hop, transforming the studio in a musical instrument and giving way to all of sonic experiments.
